The Rock Cycle
The rock cycle is the changes that rocks go through
There is no set pattern that the rock cycle has to follow. A sedimentary rock can change into a metamorphic rock or an igneous rock next.
Pay close attention to how each rock is made.
Sedimentary is made by weathering, erosion, deposition, and cementation.
Igneous is made by melting, cooling, and solidification.
Metamorphic is made by a combination of 2 of the following: heat, pressure, and chemical activity.
